Dean Tires, an enduring all-American brand established in 1923, shares its founding year with the inception of Walt Disney’s iconic cartoon studio and the inaugural game at Yankee Stadium.

Originating from the vision of David Dean of Louisville, Kentucky, Dean Tire Service emerged as a tire distribution company serving both wholesale and retail sectors across the Midwest.

Over time, leadership transitioned from David Senior to his son, also named David. In the 1960s, Dean Tires expanded its offerings by launching Dean Tire and Rubber Co., introducing a private label tire line. By the mid-1990s, the company’s annual sales soared to over $60 million, with 2 million units of Dean-brand radial passenger, light truck, and medium truck tires sold across 10 countries. Following the acquisition of the company by Cooper Tire & Rubber Company in January 1999, Mr. Dean retired from his illustrious career.

Renowned for their enduring quality and durability, Dean Tires have consistently offered rugged tires at competitive prices, embodying excellence in the industry.
